One-on-One Support

Tu Nidito provides intensive home, hospital, and community-based support for children diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition. Services are designed to assist each family member through the difficulty and stress of diagnosis, change in prognosis, and course of treatment. Referrals may come at the time of diagnosis, or at any point during treatment that a child or family is struggling with the complex issues related to coping with the illness. Masters Level Social Workers, Case Managers, and highly trained volunteers provide individualized support to the seriously ill child, their siblings and their families.

Services include, but are not limited to: emotional support, education, advocacy, resources and referrals, socialization opportunities and therapeutic play. Volunteer support can include various facets from respite and companionship to shopping and home assistance.

All of Tu Nidito’s support programs are free of charge.

Pre-Registration is Required. Complete the online referral form here or for more information contact Amanda at (520) 322-9155 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
